A joint agreement was signed between the Customs Authority and the Cooperative and Agricultural Credit Bank (CACBank) to provide modern electronic banking services to the Customs Authority and link its system to the bank through the “CACBank” system to facilitate the payment of customs duties through the bank’s modern digital systems, which will facilitate the task of taxpayers who have bank accounts with CACBank, in order to facilitate the payment of customs duties quickly, easily and smoothly by debiting their bank accounts.

A specialized team from both parties was assigned to complete the secure electronic link between the two systems signed by Abdulhakim Al-Qubati, Head of the Customs Authority, and Hashid Al-Hamdani, Acting Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of the Cooperative and Agricultural Credit Bank (CACBank).
The head of the Customs Authority praised the banking services provided by CAC Bank as a leading government bank in its advanced banking services and that this agreement is of great importance in facilitating trade and aims to help taxpayers in paying their obligations towards the authority in a safe and time-saving manner, which speeds up the process of releasing goods and this step comes based on the directives of H.E. Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak and H.E. Minister of Finance Mr. Salem Saleh bin Breik to develop customs work and automate procedures in the customs departments.
For his part, the Acting Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of the Cooperative and Agricultural Credit Bank emphasized that the Bank provides modern, advanced and multifaceted banking services, including electronic collection and payment services through the Bank’s electronic systems and applications and its various branches, which facilitates the collection process in easy, smooth and safe ways for all segments of society.
He pointed out that the electronic application “KakBanki” enables its subscribers to pay their obligations to entities dealing with the bank through their mobile devices.
