the chairman of Yemen Customs Authority , Mr. Abdulhakim Radman Alkubati, met with Mr. Dirk Jahn, UN envoy assistant for economic affairs in our country and Mr. Scott, director of the UN envoy’s office in Aden.
The meeting discussed the efforts exerted by the Customs Authority and its employees in implementing the government’s reform plan in the field of strengthening and developing customs procedures to help increase revenues.
The assistant UN envoys were also briefed on some statistics in the field of customs, tax and other revenues achieved by the Customs Authority during this year 2025.
During the meeting, YCA Chairman emphasized the role played by customs in supporting the national economy, considering this a compulsory duty towards the country and the citizen, in addition to facilitating the flow of trade.
The meeting was attended by YCA Deputy for Technical Affairs, Mr. Abdullah al-Habashi and YCA Deputy for customs enforcement, Mr. Ahmed al-Hajj, and the General manager of public relations International cooperation , Engineer Fadhl Al-Ban.
