YCA Chairman meets ICRC Committee Director

YCA Chairm MR. Abdulhakim Radman Al-Qubati, met with the director of the International Red Cross delegation, Mohammed Mahmoud Abu Hassiba, at YCA headquarters in Aden.
The meeting, which was attended by YCA Deputy of Technical Affairs MR. Abdullah Saleh Al-Habashi.
was Discussed issues related to the entry of goods and materials for ICRC projects, the extent of the facilities provided by YCA and the speedy completion of procedures related to customs work in light of the advantages granted to international organizations working in the humanitarian field in our country.
Al-Qubati emphasized the keenness of the Yemen government and the directives of H.E. Minister of Finance Mr.Salem bin Bureik and YCA leadership to quickly complete all transactions related to the organizations operating in our country, most importantly the Red Cross, in accordance with the customs law.
Al-Qubati briefed the ICRC delegation on the single window system that has been introduced to facilitate and speed up the completion of the transactions of the various authorities.
For his part, the Director of the Red Cross praised the cooperation of the Customs Authority in facilitating the procedures for the entry of goods and materials belonging to the Red Cross to enable it to fulfill its role and implement its projects and activities in the field of humanitarian assistance.
The meeting was attended by Fadhl Al-Ban, General Manager of Public Relations and International Cooperation, Mursi Baghouza, General manager of Temporary Entry Exemptions, Abobakr Al-Sharhi, Deputy General Manager of Relations, and from the Red Cross, Bahaa Al-Salami, Assistant to the Red Cross Mission in Aden, Erge Platov, Supply Department Manager, Rami Hussein, Supply Officer, and Tarek Abdel Ghafour, Clearance Department Officer.
