Customs seizes a shipment of banned and addictive medicines at Sarfeet Customs port

In cooperation with the security and military authorities, Sarafeet Customs employees  seized one million, six hundred and thirty-three thousand and two million pregabalin capsules that were loaded on a refrigerator.

The seizure came after the security authorities have been reported about a truck standing on the Yemeni-Omani border. They coordinated with the forces of the 127th Brigade stationed at the eastern gate of the customs port and the gate officer at Sarfeet Customs Port.

The truck was seized after being monitored and brought into the customs yard and inspected.

The Director General of Sarafet Customs, Mr. Ahmed Bakrit, stated that the customs, security and military authorities are doing their national duty and will not relent in seizing any goods that disturb national and regional security and affect public health and society.
