The Free Zone Customs employees were able to seize three types of smart servo motors with 180 motors, which are used in moving the wings of flying aircraft and throwing projectiles, and can be used in robots, in addition to seizing eight types of electronic boards and sensors with 1760 pieces, which are used in controlling the movement of engines, controlling energy, sensing gases, and avoiding sudden air obstacles.
In a statement by theGeneral Manager of the Free Zone Customs port, Mr. Mohsen Qahtan, he explained that the identification of the seized pieces was as a result of the efforts of the Customs Authority in qualifying and training to identify strategic goods, which was carried out under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Finance Mr. Salem Saleh bin Breik and the guidance of the head of the authority, Mr. Abdulhakim Radman Al-Qubati.
Qahtan emphasized that customs officials will not relent in seizing any goods that affect national, regional and international security, in accordance with the customs law and the laws in force.
