Yemen Customs Authority (YCA) represented by Mr. Khalid Bokair, genenal manager of Aden Airport Customs, participated in the 38th meeting of the Customs Procedures Committee, which was held for two days and concluded today.
The meeting was held at the Arab League in the Egyptian capital Cairo with the participation of Arab countries’ customs
The meeting discussed vital topics that would facilitate bilateral trade and enhance economic cooperation, most notably artificial intelligence applications in the customs system, qualified customs outlets questionnaire, and postal parcels.
The meeting also discussed preparations for the first Arab forum on customs affairs and the best applications of artificial intelligence within the customs system in the Arab countries, with the aim of developing the relevant customs departments and outlets to facilitate trade between member states.
