Yemen Customs Authority (YCA) employees at all customs ports continue their field work around the clock throughout the Eid Al-Adha holiday, under the directives of the Prime Minister – Minister of Finance, Mr. Salem Saleh bin Bureik, and direct follow-up from YCA Chairman, Mr. Abdulhakim Al-Kubati, in all land, sea and air customs ports, especially the Free Zone and Mukalla seaport customs, and Shahen, Al-Wadiah and Sarfeet land customs ports
This comes in line with YCA’s commitment to job discipline, facilitating trade procedures and protecting the country from the scourge of smuggling.
The number of arrivals and departures from land crossings reached 29,561 people, and the number of vehicles, trucks and buses departing and arriving reached 12,462 , while the number of arrivals and departures by air reached 13,502 people on 127 flights.
YCA emphasizes its commitment to perform its professional role in facilitating the procedures of travelers, facilitating the flow of trade, and protecting the country and the citizen from the scourge of smuggling.
