- The Customs Authority, represented by Deputy Director General for Audit and Risk Management Aydrous Al-Duwailah, participated in the 39th meeting of the Committee on Customs Procedures and Information, which was held at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.
The meeting lasted three days and was attended by representatives of member states from Arab customs agencies, departments, and authorities in Arab countries.
The meeting featured discussions on a number of customs-related topics, including updating the contact points responsible for following up on customs matters and the questionnaire on eligible customs ports, as well as a discussion of the First Arab Forum on Customs Affairs, as well as an exchange of experiences and insights among Arab countries on the topics discussed.
The Yemeni Customs Authority’s participation in this meeting is part of its commitment to customs cooperation, enhancing coordination, and promoting the exchange of expertise and best practices—all of which contribute to the development of Arab customs operations and help establish customs integration among Arab member states.
